Refund policy

SHOTOKAN GARAGE: RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Shotokan Garage, we stand behind our machines. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your SG-24 Series unit to request a return.

1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. This means:

  • The chassis and body shell must be unmarked, unused, and un-crashed.

  • The tires must show zero wear (no signs of drifting on pavement or indoor floors).

  • The item must be in its original packaging with all included accessories (spare tires, cones, charger, and remote).

  • You must provide the receipt or proof of purchase.

2. STARTING A RETURN

To start a return, contact us at sublimeaicontact@gmail.com.

  • Return Shipping: If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label and instructions.

  • Unauthorized Returns: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

  • Shipping Location: Returns must be sent to our designated inspection garage. Please contact support for the current localized return address.

3. DAMAGES, CRASHES, AND RC REALITY

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged out of the box.

IMPORTANT: Due to the high-performance nature of RC drifting, Shotokan Garage is not responsible for damages caused by collisions, high-speed impacts, water exposure, or user-error during operation. Once the car has been driven, mechanical damage sustained from use is not eligible for a refund.

4. EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

  • Li-ion Batteries: We cannot accept returns on standalone batteries that have been charged/discharged or show signs of swelling.

  • Sale Items: Items purchased during our "Launch Spec" or seasonal sales are eligible for Store Credit or Exchange only.

  • Gift Cards: We cannot accept returns on digital gift cards.

5. EXCHANGES

The fastest way to ensure you get the variant you want (e.g., swapping a Heritage Two-Tone for a Midnight Ronin) is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

6. EUROPEAN UNION 14-DAY COOLING OFF PERIOD

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. The item must still meet all "Original Condition" requirements listed in Section 1.

7. REFUNDS

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
